• Senior Consultant, Cataract & Refractive Surgery at Chaitanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Kottayam, Kerala since 01-05-2024.
• Medical Director of Sankara Eye Hospital, Samarjhola, Odisha, India from 01-09-2016 till 20-03-2024
  • Sankara Eye Hospital is a tertiary eye care centre for both paying and free patients.
  • I was in charge of Cataract, Refractive & Glaucoma departments.
• 2008-2016 - Senior Consultant in Cataract & Refractive Lens Surgery, Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, Karnataka, India
• 1997-2016 – Medical Superintendent & Chief Medical Officer of Arogyavaram Eye Hospital, Sompeta, Andhra Pradesh, India. I had received the Chief Minister’s award for outstanding with in ophthalmology during this time.
• I have performed more than 100,000 cataract surgeries which include a large number of premium IOLs & Femto Laser Assisted Cataract Surgeries (FLACS) in addition to routine phacoemulsification & SICS. Also perform numerous Complex Cataract Surgeries, Glaucoma filtration surgeries, Scleral Fixated IOLs, Repositioning of Malpositioned IOLs, Phakic IOLs, Pterygium excision with CLAG among others.

• I have published articles in JCRS, Current Eye Research & IJO and some non-peer reviewed journals.
• I have chapters in 4 textbooks.
• I have presented Instruction Courses, papers, posters and videos in APAO, APACRS, ASCRS, ESCRS, AIOC, Chinese Cataract & Refractive Society Conference, Indonesian Ophthalmic Association conference and many regional ophthalmic conferences like DOS, GOS, KSOS, OSOS, IIRSI etc.
