Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 9th Asia Cornea Society (ACS) Biennial Meeting in conjunction with the 7th Indonesian Society Of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (INASCRS) Biennial Meeting, which will be held on September 26 until 28, 2024 in Jakarta.
The meeting's goal is to promote eye health development through the exchange of innovative technologies, research, and practice, as well as capacity building, particularly for young ophthalmologists. Bringing the ACS meeting to our house is in line with our goal of boosting the number of cornea surgeons in Indonesia. We have been attempting to optimise the content and approach of our Meeting in the past. For example, we have been paying more attention to corneal eye problems by offering additional didactic courses on cornea for several years.
We think that holding this meeting would stimulate learning and collaboration among eye care practitioners, and we believe that such ecological growth of the ophthalmology industry will assist us in overcoming hurdles in increasing the number of corneal surgeons in Indonesia.
The combined biennial meeting of attendees from the Association of Asia Cornea Society (ACS), the Indonesian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery Association (INASCRS), and the Indonesian Cornea Society (INACORS) will provide participants with an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with speakers from around the world; and industry stakeholders will be able to show and demonstrate recent product and service innovations to specific target audiences.
As a result, everyone is welcome to attend the ACS-INASCRS Meeting 2024
