We are happy to announce that the Asia Cornea Society 9th Biennial Scientific Meeting will be held in conjunction with the 7th Indonesian Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Biennial Scientific Meeting, to be held over three days from 26th – 28th September 2024 at Pullman Hotel Central Park, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The meeting is the combined biennial gathering of attendees from the Asia Cornea Society, the Indonesian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery Association, and the Indonesian Cornea Society. The meeting features high level scientific presentations from distinguished leading clinicians and researchers from around the globe, and provides an environment of inspiration, collaboration, and collegiality for all Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgeons with a special focus on young ophthalmologists on the pathway to becoming Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgeons.
The meeting program will be filled by many invited speakers, from Europe, USA as well as Asian countries, who will deliver presentations on the latest advances in the fields of cornea, refractive surgery and cataract innovations. Around 1,500 participants from the Asian region are expected to join this 3-day event, inclusive of ophthalmologists, scientists, students, and other allied health care practitioners.
This international meeting which focuses on our collective anterior segment subspecialities will be the first of its kind in Indonesia, and importantly also provides a platform for ophthalmic industry stakeholders to interact with clinicians and academics targeting on the more recent technology and product innovations in the field, through networking opportunities, networking functions, exhibitions and wetlabs.
