Dr. Rina La Distia Nora is a highly qualified ophthalmologist with a rich academic and clinical background. She earned her specialist qualification (SpM) in ophthalmology from Universitas Indonesia on August 29, 2009. Pursuing further expertise, she completed her Ph.D. in ophthalmo-immunology at Erasmus MC in the Netherlands on June 20, 2018. Her thesis focused on "Mycobacterium Tuberculosis-Associated Uveitis: Infection and Autoimmunity."

Since January 2010, Dr. Nora has been a dedicated medical staff member in the Ophthalmology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, and Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. In her role, she specializes in the Infection and Immunology Division, serving as an attending physician, supervisor for residents and medical students, lecturer, and researcher.

Dr. Nora's commitment to education is evident in her teaching experience, having been a lecturer and clinical supervisor in the Ophthalmology Department at Universitas Indonesia and Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital since January 2010. Her contributions to both the academic and medical communities highlight her dedication to advancing the field of ophthalmology and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
