I am Lukman Edwar. I completed my medical degree, ophthalmology specialization, and PhD program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Currently, I work as a consultant in ocular infection and immunology at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. I am conducting several basic research projects in the field of corneal infections, particularly corneal neovascularization, as well as investigating the use of phytopharmaceuticals for treating corneal infections and intraocular inflammation. I have published 42 scientific articles in the field of eye health. Additionally, I serve as the Head of the Ocular Infection and Immunology Division at RSCM Kirana and as a Council Member of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS).
