Dr. Fan is a distinguished corneal specialist at the Department of Ophthalmology in Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan, since 2013 and has been recently appointed as an associate professor at National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University. Dr. Fan's educational background includes an MD from Chung Shan Medical and Dental University, Taiwan, and comprehensive ophthalmology training at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, culminating in a PhD from the Institute of Clinical Medicine at National Yang-Ming University.
